I think the conflict in the Anthem is that everyone is a clone. They can not stand on there own and once Equality 7-2521 stands out and finds new things no one will listen. The lord/ ruler dose not want some street sweeper to find out about the real world and how they really have fallen back in technolgy. Equality 7-2521 talks about how the elder people know about the real world but because at the time he did not want to stand out he did not listen. I think that he will come back and need the help of the elders! They will show the clones the real world
